The great snake escape…
So I posted my last entry and went back downstairs to see if the snake ate yet. For feeding we put her and 2 thawed baby mice into a plastic bin thing. Well this is a new one my mom just got today so its the first time we used it. And while the lid seemed good and tight….I got and look and see the two dead mice but er…no snake. After a quick bout of panic we got the pets outa the room and closed the door and began the daunting task of trying to find a 12″ snake in a huge room with like 15 potted plants and just so much other stuff that the odds of us ever finding her were slim. Luckly I guess being outside her tank/container freeked her out so much that she didnt go more then a few inches from where she escaped from and was curled up waiting patiently for us next to the first potted plant I moved. And this time she let me pick her up with a minimum of trying to escape and no biting. Talk about lucky/a smart snake eh?

So this past week has been Uber fun at work. From 8-4 I get to do my usual special deliveries, tomorrow I already have a van full of stuff to do…sigh. But on top of that from 4-7 I have been filling bag after bag of coffee for the damned Xtramart order.
Damn you {{popup brewboy.gif brewboy 294×270}}brewboy….damn you to Hell!!! On the plus side I’m not all by my self. They got some of the ladies from the office to stay and help which is cool. With the help we can kick out about 100 cases in the three hours, which is 600 12oz bags of coffee. Fill…heat seal…fold/tape…and box, repeat. Whee! Yah it’s a job I guess but blah!
Salem was fun last weekend if not crowded. But it was nice to get out for a change.
And I sorta have a snake now. My mom got one, a baby corn snake, but then decided she didn’t like it as much as she thought (mostly because all it tries to do is bite her, hehehe) so she was gona give it away but I said sense we have it ill take care of it and stuff. So for now its stating in the computer room where it was but when it comes time to move and such I guess its going with me. Due to its temperament my mom named her nippy which I find fitting seeing as she tried to bite me tonight when I went to feed her.
One more day of coffee fun, so far no work Friday which will be very nice, too many more days of that and ill start having brewboy nightmares. Hehehe

For the second time when I came home to check my email I found some one has posted a karma point thingie on one of my blog entries here. Thing is that I can’t figure out who it is 
. Using Neotrace the IP tracks back to an Att node up near Madison,Wisconsin. Thing is I don’t know anyone off hand that lives in that area. Now while it is true that the area may just be a hub for some isp (i know aol IPs usually track back to VA) there is also the chance that some one totally random may be reading this stuff which is kinda nifty. So if it is some one random/new or some such thing…..er…HI!

So I was more then just normal bored tonight I was über bored. To that end I made a screen saver using some of my grave yard picts and stuff. Its in the code section so take a look if you want. In theory it should work on most any windows based system but I have only tested it on my 98 box so who knows.

Sleep and Awake It’s from some picts I took at the cemetery this summer and some photoshoping. Er…I don’t know what else to do with them for now. I have some vague thoughts of some dark/odd screensaver. I think a fade transition would look cool with those picts. And thanks to torrent I got a nifty screensaver maker so I guess we shall see.
