Yay! Jenn will be coming down for a visit tomorrow and staying a few days here in ever lovely Hartford. So far we have no major plans other then to eat several yummy things (Mmmm….krispy kreme)….and be bums which is fine with me :) hehe. But what ever we end up doing it will be nifty to get to visit with Jenn again…even if it does violate the “getting to see Andrew only once every six months rule” its all good! :)

A “space blaster” gun that shoots little foam disks…hehe look out kitties.

Keep an eye out. When I use my wine kit I will have to make a page with photos and stuff of all the stages (Even if it is supposed to take a month…I want wine now!!! ;) )

Ok off to food….Merry Christmas everyone…except for you non-Christmas people in which case it’s a Merry Yule or Happy Chanukkah or something else.

So we had our Christmas party at Omar today. All in all it as ok….free food and alcohol are always a plus. I got a 25$ gift card from Keith as my secret Santa present and a 50$ cash Christmas bonus which isn’t too shabby either. Now there is some time to kill before Christmas eve dinner at Grandmas and then Midnight Mass tonight.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

So apparently more people read this thing than I ever would of guessed. Which is disturbing in a way I suppose. It also means that I guess I ought to actually put some…um what’s that word…..good websites have it….um….oh yah…Content! That’s it! I ought to add some more meaningful content to this site at some point. I’m sure some of you enjoy my self serving pictures of my friends and pets and stuff (thought I do have to say that some of the cemetery pictures aren’t half bad). And those of you who have always had a longing to make my Mexican Lasagna for themselves are all set to go thanks to my texts section. But other then that I’ll be darned if I can figure out why, at last count, 28 people have visited my site in the last seventeen days. Well to any and all reading this (well all 28 of you at least) thanks for visiting and keep an eye out. Um…maybe some time soon I will have some meaningful content and then like everyone will want to visit captainscience.com and then you can tell your friends… “oh yah captainscience.com I used to visit there before it got super cool” and then you will be a trend setter and everyone will love and respect you. Um….or not. Either way I’ll still be here.

Southwark, England!

Its still snowing and seeing as I will have the house to my self for yet another night I am still being a bum and playing on line/with my www site. Just took a look at the counter log and thanks to NeoTrace I find that someone from Southwark, England (or somewhere near by) actually visited my page. Gak! I guess I ought to start adding some real content at some point eh? I mean if people are actually visiting my site and all :)

more snow…

Well it’s still snowing! My family just called and they are about half way home but gave up and got another room for the night instead of trying to make it all the way back today, which is a good move. I on the other hand ventured out for about 20 min to shovel this morning and thats it. The rest of the day has been spent in a nice warm house watching Fururama cartoons and playing with my webpage. I made my own perl script to show when a page was last updated. Well I did get some parts from a few other scripts but I think I made enough changes and stuff that I can call it my own now :) . I’m still testing it but will be posting CSMod v.0.5 in a day or two so keep an eye out if you care about such things.

poor fish…sniffle…

Well something is still VERY wrong with my fish tank…though at this point it really doesnt matter any more. All but two of my fishies are dead, including the two newer ones I just got two weeks ago. Bah! After having two die on me in less then a day I went and set up my old, little five gal. tank and put the only two fish that seemed to be doing ok in it (the algae eater and one of the diamond tetras). They are now down in the kitchen. At the time that left one smaller silver one and an orange one. Well less then 4 hours later both are dead leaving me with an empty 15 gal tank sitting on my dresser. :( bah! Damn petco fish. I blame them. They looked ok in the tank at the store, and I cant think of anything else that could of caused this. Well, Ill have to see how the two do in the little tank. If they make it the next few days I will yet again tare down the big tank, clean/scrub it out, and set it up again, though at this point I dont know if I will get any more fish for a month or so, or until im sure that what ever killed these fish wont happen again. Sigh. Poor fishies.
