back in NYC with another plant…
Well I am back in NYC again after a weekend back in CT. Was a nice trip. As I said before I went to the book barn and got some books (duh!) and saw a few movies Friday. Saturday I ran some errands and did a little shopping (got a laptop bag and flash drive). Then Saturday night Val came up to visit and we went out to Macaroni Grill (well we wondered around the mall for an hour first waiting for our reservation time). Then today was just some grocery shopping (so I didn’t have to do it in NYC) and my parents drove me back here. Which was nice because with all the crap I bought dragging it home on the train would of sucked!
At Price Chopper in CT (where I went grocery shopping) they had a big display of Lucky Bamboo plants, both in pots and arrangements, and as loose stalks. So I bought one of the loose ones, which was only like 0.89c and potted it in a red 250ml erlenmeyer flask with some small stones I got form the dollar store. It looks nice, sorta “chemistry nerd” decor.
