So yah we are all going to die on the subway or something like that. That didn’t stop me from going out this weekend, the rain did actually. I ran out and did a few small errands this morning but that was about it. Seeing as it poured all day today I mostly hid in my appt. Well ok, I did run out to the store because I had a hankering for something sweet so I picked up milk and eggs and brownie mix. Mmmm. Yah I was week but eh…I deserve it. Like a sucker I volunteered to work Monday (Columbus Day) I just have to remember that I have to be in at 8 instead of 10. I can so see my self forgetting and going in late. But what would I do with Columbus Day off? plus I get time and a half plus 7 hours of time. So its worth going in.
(I just called the girl and we are BOTH such geeks. It’s a saturday night and we BOTH have the history channel on watching an episode of their series “Hooked: Illegal Drugs”, its really more work study for me but still…..geeks the both of us) 
ah well what can I say…I’m a geek, got a geek girl, and am proud damn it!
