Great beer!
So the girl and I went out for dinner tonight. Ended up at CA Pizza Kitchen because the other places we were thinking of going had a 40+ minute wait. Um no thanks. But dinner there was really good. Then after we went to the Amish market to get desert and also ended up picking up some alcoholic refreshments for the weekend. Meg got some of her Woodchuck hard cider that she likes and I was looking for something new/unique. The beer selection at the Amish market is more about micro brews and specialty craft brews, rather then stuff like bud (which I think can pass as water in some states). Well after a few minutes of searching one look at the package and it was in our basket:
It was just too good to pass up! Haven’t tried any yet but being “messiah bold” it HAS to be good!

Mall visit
So after work Saturday I took our broken DVD player up to Best Buy near the mall to get it fixed. Mind you I called first to ask if I need to bring everything or if I could just bring in the player. I was told just the player would be enough, no need to bring all the speakers and what not. Well I get there, wait in two lines, only to be told…thats right…I need everything. On my way home I stopped into Target to pick up a new hooded sweatshirt, my old one got paint down the arm at work on Friday (way to put up wet paint signs). So anyway, we went back today, when there was MUCH less traffic and what not, with all the speakers and parts and dropped off the unit. Given we will be without a DVD player for about a month we picked up a cheap unit at Target. Yeah we are slaves to technology Meg went down to Layne Bryant to get some new jeans and also found a sexy little jacket that she fell in love with. At first she didn’t want to get it but then I reminded her that she has a job now and can afford to buy things like sexy little jackets if she wanted.
Monday it is back to work, weekends just aren’t long enough!
Its been a while
I just realized I haven’t posted anything in like 2 weeks. Mostly because it’s been a boring two weeks. To quickly re-cap Chelsea is doing fine, went home a few days after we left. Still has to take it easy for a while but all in all she is doing good. They don’t know exactly what was wrong other then probably some infection of her intestine or something but it seems to of cleared up fine. Wedding it self was nice, traditional Ukrainian wedding so that was a bit different from the typical western type: “walk down the isle, rings, flower girls ect” The reception was fun, again very Ukrainian with music and traditional songs and what not. I had no idea what any of them meant but there was enough stuff in english for us to get the gist of it. The girl and I did some shopping and visiting of the book barn and Mystic while in CT and drove back to NYC. Work for both of us has been going alright. My job is crazy getting ready for our big inspection (though there has been plenty of OT that I have been taking advantage of) and Meg is still doing random intern type projects. All in all nothing too exciting .
Wedding weekend
This weekend the girl and I are heading up to CT for my cousins wedding. Should be interesting given I haven’t been to a family wedding in like 6 or 7 years. I fully expect to be constantly grilled by family and such as to if we have set a date yet for our wedding. Sigh…oh well. Should be fun none the less. We also plan to do some little trip tomorrow, want to try and go apple picking and we were going to go look at leaves but still isn’t much color up north so I don’t know if we will bother.
I did send out my letter for the parking tickets on that FL plate. So hopefully that is taken care of. Now I just hope that they stop using the damn plate soon so I don’t have to do it all over again. Feh!
