Today I had to go down for refresher training for the SCOTT pack air system I was trained to use a few years back.

I had to go down for a medical evaluation a few weeks ago and today was the refresher course. After going over the basics on use and maintenance we went over how to put the systems together and hook them up to our masks. Then we went for a nice stroll outside (yeah it was cold) to just get used to walking while wearing the system and breathing the bottled air.

The picture is of me (in case you couldn’t tell) when we went outside, it came out a bit distorted because I had to take it with my own camera phone while trying to breath and you know not trip. hehe

Slow time of year

It’s just that time of year. Mid-winter, nothing much going on, not much worth blogging about.

Science is going fine, still playing with chemicals and fire.

The girl and I are still looking into wedding ideas, but have gotten further than we have in the last 2 years so that’s something.

We did see the movie Coraline Friday night. It was good, not as creepy/dark as the book, but still very entertaining and creepy enough to freak out some of the little kids in the theater which is always a plus. hehe
